Our Goal

Making recovery resources easier to find, access, and navigate

ResourceAid.org exists to serve as a centralized resource and connection hub for individuals and families affected by substance use disorder — including those on parole, probation, or reentering the community from the justice system — bringing together the trusted nonprofit organizations, community agencies, treatment providers, government resources, philanthropic partners, and essential services that can help people achieve and sustain recovery.

Our goal is to make recovery resources easier to find, easier to access, and easier to navigate by creating a single, trusted destination where individuals can connect with the organizations and services they need—whether those needs involve treatment, medication, housing, transportation, employment, food, mental health support, legal and probation assistance, financial stability, education, or other critical resources.

Rather than duplicating the work of existing organizations, ResourceAid.org will amplify and connect the organizations already doing the work. Through a coordinated network and centralized digital platform, we will help eliminate fragmented services, reduce barriers to care, improve continuity and engagement in recovery, and connect people with resources at the moment they need them most.

Ultimately, ResourceAid.org seeks to become the “front door to recovery resources”—a trusted place where someone can come for help and quickly discover where to go next.

That is why ResourceAid.org places justice-system reentry and diversion support at the center of its work. Successful reentry depends on the same essentials as sustained recovery — stable housing, transportation, employment, identification, medication, and someone to help navigate it all. We help people leaving incarceration or living under parole and probation connect to those resources, meet the conditions of their supervision, and build a stable, productive, and meaningful life on the outside.

Our Guiding Principle
Treatment begins recovery. Resources sustain it.

ResourceAid.org's role is to help ensure that no individual falls through the gaps between treatment, recovery, and the essential resources required to build a stable, productive, and meaningful life.

Our Mission & Vision

Helping people build a life after incarceration

Every year, more than 10 million people cycle through U.S. jails — many living with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. For those coming home on parole or probation, the first months back are where a new life is either built or lost. ResourceAid.org walks alongside them, connecting each person to the essentials that make lasting change possible and helping them meet the conditions of their supervision.

A Place to Live

Stable, recovery-supportive housing from day one.

Work & Purpose

Job pathways, workforce training, and self-sufficiency.

Getting There

Someone in Your Corner

A record shouldn't be a life sentence. With the right resources, reentry becomes a fresh start — not a revolving door.
